Warranty Information

As a valued returning customer, your new Plum unit will be covered under our standard one-year limited warranty, which begins upon delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use.

We also offer Plum Care Extended Warranty, which provides additional years of coverage. Plum Care can be purchased within 90 days of delivery and includes:

  • Full parts and labor coverage for qualifying repairs.
  • A replacement unit if your Plum cannot be repaired.
  • Protection against mechanical and electrical failures, including power surges.
  • Plum Care Extended Warranty is available for customers within the United States and is tied to your unit’s serial number.

Warranty Exclusions

The Plum warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic damage, including deterioration of the product’s appearance, scratches, dents, chips, rust, or peeling.
  • Damage due to misuse or abuse, including use in an industrial or commercial setting or otherwise not in accordance with Plum’s product instructions.
  • Unauthorized modifications, including disassembling or tampering with the unit.
  • Issues caused by third-party accessories, parts, or components.
  • Damage resulting from force majeure events, such as fire, flooding, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
  • Failure to install required software or firmware updates, which may impact proper functionality.

Transferability of Warranty

The Plum warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. If the unit is resold or transferred, warranty coverage does not extend to subsequent owners.
